New Leaf flips vehicle to 'new' status . . .

        It's the time of year rolling around when you're noticing your vehicle is just more than a tad past a good cleaning date. That little problem, doubled up with back-to-school, hockey sign-ups, figure skating, guiding, fall fishing, drives to part-time jobs, making dinner, etc., makes it the perfect time to locate an individual who can do that car cleaning for you.

        Having recently gone through this problem, and most satisfied with our  eventual decision, we're pointing out that today a professional car cleaning is nothing like it once was. And here's why!

        Recently we decided that getting in and out of a vehicle was in the  initial throes of annoying. Especially when kicking the coffee cups out from under the gas or brake pedal, or losing important things in the pile of trash strewn around the back seat. Without getting into a rant about it the decision also advanced to investigating having a car cleaning done professionally.

        Following some on-line research we tripped over a Stephen Baril who operates a Vehicle Detailing Business from his home, just east of Morrisburg, at Riverside. We actually discovered him in driving by and reading a sign leaning against his mail-box post. The sign announces "New Leaf Vehicle Detailing", and offers 'washes, waxes, shampoos, accessories & more'.

        We met Stephen, discussed our needs and prices and agreed to a day and time, vehicle interior only. Noted,  I'm a stickler when it comes to getting what I pay for.

        When Stephen Baril returned our car it was as clean and fresh as the day we purchased it, and then some. The floor mats (shinning like black mirrors) and carpets were pristine. The windows sparkled, the passenger comforts beautifully restored to final factory day.  Even the floor under the spare tire had been vacuumed, wiped as clean as the matts in the passenger compartment. The task couldn't have been more perfect.

        Since dealing with New Leaf Automobile Detailing we have learned that a number of local businesses use Mr. Baril's talents in dealing with their own clients, and all of those with whom we have passed the time-of-day are happy with the relationship. All of them. That says something!
