Cornelius De Rooy . . .

        Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 20th, 2024, Cornelius De Rooy of Winchester, age 75.  Loving husband of Elaine De Rooy (nee Fawcett).  Loving father of Colleen and Curtis.  Dear brother of Peter De Rooy (Jan) of Winchester and Linda Kelly (Allan) of Georgetown.  Dear brother-in-law of Diane Crummy (Bob) of Winchester, Barbara Barkley (Raymond) of Winchester, Eleanor Anderson (John) of Kingston, Lloyd Fawcett (Tina) of Kemptville, Don Fawcett (Linda) of Winchester and Dwayne Fawcett (Wilma) of Winchester.  Cornelius will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jacob, and Emily (Sebastian).  He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Cornelia De Rooy (nee Van Dam).  He is also survived by nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Arrangements . . . 

        A Celebration of Cornelius’ life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Sunday, Dec. 1st from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
