Passed away peacefully at the Osgoode Care Centre on Friday, Dec. 27th, 2024, Ed Kearns, formerly of Winchester and Brinston, age 91. Beloved husband of the late Bev Kearns (nee Kent). Loving father of Edward “Dusty” Kearns (Cathy) of Niagara Falls, Danny Kearns (Tammy) of Brantford, Susan Montague of Niagara Falls, Lisa Bradman (Rick) of Niagara Falls, Lynn Kearns of Niagara Falls, Kate Kearns of Niagara Falls and Pamela DeVries of Winchester. Stepfather of John Dickson (Renee) of Verdun and Allen Dickson (Chantel Deschamps) of Kemptville. Ed will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Hope, Eric, Callie, Tara, Derek, A.J., Samantha and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents William and Annie Kearns (nee Curran), his daughter Ann Gilchrist and his sister Mary (Gerald) Beehler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Presentation Roman Catholic Church in Chesterville on Saturday, Jan. 18th at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville. Spring inurnment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Chesterville.
