Ivan Merkley . . .

        Passed away suddenly at the Sunset Cove Retirement Home in Long Sault on Sunday, Mar. 2nd, 2025, Ivan Merkley of Chesterville, age 93.  Beloved husband of the late Betty Merkley.  Dear brother of Stella McIntyre of Brockville and Barry Merkley of Chesterville.  Dear uncle of Kim Merkley-Brown, Vicki Merkley (Richard Taillefer), Corinne Merkley (Chris Kelly), Michael McIntyre (Penny), Jane Benson (Greg) and great-uncle of Nolan, Rylie, McKenna, Kaley, William, Karen, Troy and Samantha.  He was predeceased by his parents James and Helen Merkley (nee Taylor) and his brothers Graham and Claire Merkley.   

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville on Wednesday, Mar. 5th at 2:00 p.m.  A reception will follow.  Spring interment of cremated remains will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
