Nora Marie Atkinson (nee Rowlings) . . .

        Nora Marie Atkinson at the age of 97, passed peacefully to meet her Lord at the Bruyère - Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, on Oct. 11th, 2024.   Nora was a pastor’s wife for most of her life and was predeceased by her husband Rev. Mansell Atkinson (1998) and her daughter Brenda (2015).  She is survived by her son William Atkinson (Anne) and her grandchildren Elizabeth Thangaraj (Arun), and Rev. Stephen Atkinson (Cynthia).  Nora has 5 great-grandchildren: Isaac, Ellie, Rachel, Noah and Eva.  Nora, formerly of Winchester, lived her final years at the Garden Villa Retirement Home in Chesterville. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at the Garden Villa who provided excellent, compassionate care to Nora.

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Monday, Oct. 21st, 2024, at 10:00 a.m for visitation which will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Chesterville.
