Wayne McHaffie . . .

        Owner of McHaffie Flea Market for 42 years- Retired 

        Passed away peacefully at the Woodland Villa Nursing Home in Long Sault on Saturday, Mar. 1st, 2025, Wayne McHaffie of Glen Becker, age 80.  Loving husband of Sheila McHaffie (nee Coughler) for almost 58 years.  Loving father of Laurie Patterson (Derick) of Glen Becker.  Wayne will forever be remembered by his grandchildren Logan Patterson (Travis McMillan) and Griffin Patterson.  Dear brother of Carole Brown (late Earl) of Morrisburg, Linda Casselman (John Lague) of Morrisburg, Janet McColl (late Gary) of Prescott and Heather Torres of Brockville.  Dear brother-in-law of Lyndon Casselman of Morrisburg and Neil Strader of Glen Becker.  He was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Audrey McHaffie (nee Saddlemire) and his sisters Debbie Strader and Elsie Guindon.  Wayne will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  

Funeral Arrangements . . .

        Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Thursday, March 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg on Friday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception. 

        Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.  If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family”.
