Ingredients
2 tsp. olive oil
2 ¼″-thick slices fresh mozzarella
2 slices sourdough bread
¼ tsp. Aleppo pepper
Instructions
Heat oil in a 10″ nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Place mozzarella between slices of bread, and add to skillet. Press sandwich with a spatula or plate and cook, adding more oil if
needed and turning once, until golden brown and cheese is melted, 6–8 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper before serving.
